Management Structure
Project Board
The Project Board chaired by the project coordinator and is responsible for the overall success of the project and is therefore, be the ultimate escalation point for any project issues.
Coordinator
The Project Coordinator (PC) (IEG) is the sole point of contact with the European Commission (EC) and oversees all project activities and collate the deliverables and milestone reports.
Technical Manager
The Project Technical Manager (TM)'s (GEO) role has been integrated into the Work Packages and will involve the direct management of technical project activities, monitoring technical progress and coordinate activities between Work Package Leaders.
Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication Manager
The Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication Manager (TVS) reports to the Project Coordinator and is responsible for further developing the dissemination, exploitation and communication strategies.
Work Package Leaders
The work package leaders are responsible for managing the Work Packages (WP) and all work conducted by participants in each Work Package.
Task Leaders
The task leaders are responsible for managing the defined concrete tasks, within a WP, and all work conducted by participants in their task. The Task leaders establish, in co-ordination with the Work Package Leader, the detailed schedule of the Work Package and the work in progress.
Advisory Board
Advisory board will have technical & commercial experts. Advisory board technical experts will advise on technical issues using their experience in geothermal energy. The advisory board commercial experts will help for the future exploitation of the OptiDrill results including developing business model, obtaining venture capital funding and protecting knowledge.
