Kevin J Mallin, OptiDril project’s Technical Manager and the Managing Director of Geolorn Limited will be presenting a paper titled “OptiDrill- Back to the Future” on Day 3 of the 10th UK Geothermal Symposium to be held on 20-22 November 2023.
With a call for papers, the German Geothermal Association invited interested scientists and projects to present their current scientific findings at the DGK. Young scientists were also invited to participate in the “Science Bar”. This poster competition offered the opportunity to present bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral theses on the topic of geothermal energy to a broad professional audience.
A paper was submitted on “Deep Geothermal Drilling Real-Time Performance Prediction and Optimization Using Artificial Intelligence Methods” and a poster was presented on this paper on the second day of the EGC 2022.
The 14th annual European Geothermal PhD Days (EGPD) was held on 4th-6th April, 2023 in Glasgow, Scotland. A feature on the OptiDrill Project by Dr Tamanna Khan, Dissemination and Communication Manager of the OptiDrill Project, and Director and Senior Consultant at Technovative Solutions Ltd., was published in the online and print versions of Innovation News Network June issue.
